Father’s Day Gift Ideas
It’s that time of year again. The time where people celebrate their fathers or that special someone who’s looked after them. It’s also BBQ and sunscreen weather (let’s hope it stays that way).
In this blog, I’d like to give you some gift inspiration by recommending some brands I’ve found on my travels across the web. Unfortunately these brands haven’t sponsored this blog (though that would be great). These are just brands I’d like to genuinely share with you.
Kicking off this post I’m starting with a brand I found through my boyfriend. He was gifted a t-shirt with coffee embroidery on it which he loves. He coincidently found that his friend likes Percival too when he turned up wearing a matching one!
Anyway, Percival have a lovely range of embroidered items from t-shirts to socks, hoodies and more. The embroidery is fun, and not too large or over-the-top. These items are great as gifts as the design themes can be a cute nod to a love of coffee, food, flowers you name it. And it saves you from sewing anything yourself if you aren’t a dab hand.
I stumbled across Clae from my stint dressing male mannequins at John Lewis. I have always loved these shoes as they are clean and minimal and pretty much go with everything. Great for that guy in your life that likes effortless style and doesn’t want to own too many pairs of shoes. I also discovered that they offer sustainable products and try to limit their environmental impact which is cool too.
Ok so I found Flower Mountain through a promoted Instagram post. I’m always on the hunt for new brands I don’t already know and can share with others. Their trainers have some really cool textures, colour and fabric combinations inspired by nature. Perfect for that fun dad who’d like something quirky that can show off his personality and set him apart. Or even just a nice lift with a white tee and blue jeans.
Rains is a cool brand that I found through my brother who doesn’t shop often. When he does, he buys pieces that are long lasting and tends to favour environmentally friendly brands . I’ve noticed that many men appreciate timeless quality pieces to fast fashion and trends.
This brand is ideal for a father-figure with an active lifestyle or even just lives in the UK! They have their own signature water-proof fabric which they’ve made many items from. As well as raincoats, they have bags, accessories and shoes in their contemporary style. The vibe is pretty urban and Scandinavian inspired and favours function foremost. It’s always nice to see these days as a chance to gift something useful to that care-giver as a thank you.
Another great way to say thanks to your dad is to gift him joy and confidence through a Personal Styling experience.
My dad really appreciated finding which colours suited him through Colour Analysis as he can feel pretty overwhelmed when shopping. He also benefitted from my Wardrobe Edit service as we realised he had many clothes in bad condition taking up space in his wardrobe which needed replacing.
Many clients with busy lifestyles that aren’t so into technology appreciate the Online Personal Shopping service where they are sent links to items tailored to their needs. I’ve had clients happy for me to set up accounts for them and help them buy and return pieces on their behalf too.
If this sounds like the perfect gift you’d like to give, get in touch and let’s make that special person feel great inside and out!
