How Does Personal Shopping Online Work

When booking a Personal Stylist, you’re probably imagining Personal Shopping and being taken around the shops. Nowadays, especially amidst the recent pandemic, our life has very much moved online and we’ve seen how convenient it can be too.

For years even before the virus, I was online shopping for my family and sending them links—especially my mum. (Hi, mum.) Every day I check the new-ins of all my favourite brands and save things for myself and my clients.

Online shopping is perfect for those of us still vulnerable and uneasy about shopping in person. It’s also great for those who have a busy lifestyle and brings just as great results as a physical shop but held in the comfort of your own home.

Having a Colour & Body consultancy before a personal shop is normally useful because it gives both of us a clearer idea of what to look for. We all have individual colour palettes that suit our complexion best, while understanding your body shape is vital when it comes to choosing the right fit. However, if you wish to jump in to the shopping session, that’s okay too! You just need to complete some simple questions so that I have the information I need (such as sizes and budget, as well as your taste and personality) to prepare best.

From there, you can leave the shopping to me, as I’ll gather a selection of clothes to fulfil your needs (just as I would in person, too) and prepare a moodboard for you, including all the links you need to inspect their details—and add to basket if you wish!

Don’t worry—it’s not a call where I just talk at you! It will be an open dialogue between us where you will have the opportunity to express how you feel and what you think, because ultimately it’s important that you feel good about it going forward. The main aim of the service is to open your eyes and inspire you with new ideas and fresh outfits.
